Plot

Kemsamarat, who is Kongpope’s dad, found out that he has lung cancer and will die shortly. Before he does he wants to make reminisce with Jakkrapot’s family. Kemsamarat once owned a big business with Jakkrapot but then he betrayed Jakkrapot and took all of the business. Jakkrapot then dies because of this. So Kemsamarat, knowing that he’s going to die, wants to make up for his wrong doings to Jakkrapot’s wife and daughter Namnueng (Piyada). But Anong (Jakkrapot’s wife) wouldn’t forgive him and she just wants her husband back, which is impossible. Kemsamarat felt guiltier then before. Since, Anong refused to accept any money from him, he changed his will and gave 500 million bahts to Numnueng, the only child of his friend.

Kongpope returns home from America only to find out that his late father had left half a million baht to a girl whom he had never met. Kongpope told his friend, Tin, not to tell anyone about the will. Kongpope lied to Tin and his father that he’d tell her himself. Tin and his father believed him and didn’t tell anyone. Kongpope plans to get all of his money back, so he decides to trick Namneung into falling in love with him. Kongpope uses every technique he had to make her fall in love with him. As it turned out, Namneung is not like most of the girls he had encountered in his life. She didn’t give into him easily. She suspects what a hi-class man would want with a normal, hairstylist like her. Namneung’s mom doesn’t like Kongpope one bit. She suspects that he is not being truthful to Namneung and warns Namneung to stay away from him.

Time passes, and eventually Namneung falls for Kongpope like he had hoped. He took this chance and asks for her hand in marriage. She was reluctant at first because they are obviously moving too fast. But all that mattered is that Namneung is in love with Kongpope, so she agreed. Namneung however doesn’t know Kongpope is using her for her inheritance. Kongpope’s aunt found out that Kongpope is merely using Namneung for the inheritance and was really happy even though, she wanted Kongpope to marry Pornfah.

At the wedding, everything seemed perfect. Namneung was happy that her mother came and thought that everything would be great from now on. She was wrong. On the day of their marriage, Namneung was brought up to the top floor of the hotel to sign some papers. It is the paper that gives Kongpope the right to control all of her money. She signed it, to prove that she really does love Kongpope and doesn’t care about the money. By this time, Namneung’s mom and her friends had already found out the truth about Kongpope’s true intention. They rushed to warn Namneung, but too late. The deed was done. The truth came out that Kongpope was really just using Namneung. Feeling crushed and betrayed by her love, Namneung all in tears, told Kongpope that she doesn’t want him to bother her again. She asked what his heart is made of and why is it so cold. Kongpope tried to explain himself, but Namneung and everyone else wouldn’t listen to him. Namneung then ran off. At this point, Kongpope realizes that he is in love with Namneung for real.

The next day, Namneung became a total different person. She told herself not to be weak and not to trust anyone easily. She went to Kongpope’s house, along with Tin and his father, to file for divorce. Namneung had 3 requests for Kongpope: One, to forget about the papers that she had signed. Two, give her back her half million baht. Finally, three, the last request is for a divorce. Kongpope was shocked that Namneung wanted a divorce. He agreed to the first two, but refused to divorce Namneung.

The next day, Kongpope went to Tin’s house to get Namneung to come live with him. Namneung said she would if he followed her three requests: One, everyone in the household would treat her as a lady of the house. Two, she has the same rights as him. Three, he cannot touch her in any way whatsoever, or else she’d leave him. Kongpope agreed.

Namneung is using this chance to get Kongpope to divorce her. She’d spend all of his money, buying jewelry, unnecessary things and cars for her mom, and friends. She also went to his business place, ‘Harlem Member Club’, and took over. Jenny and Praewloung, who too wanted to marry Kongpope, went to tell Kongpope. Kongpope came and took Namneung away. In the car, he got really mad at her because all she talked about was wanting to divorce him, so he forcefully kissed her. Namneung, in tears then left him.

One day, Namneung and Tin went to look for a place at a resort where, she’d take her mom to rest. Kongpope found out and thought that Tin and Namneung were having an affair, so he followed them. He found them in time and misunderstood that Namneung is sleeping with Tin. Kongpope got really mad and took Namneung with him to a little house by the beach. There, out of anger and his love for her, he forced her into bed. The couple stayed at the house for a little while, and became close once again. Kongpope asked Namneung for her forgiveness and she agreed for she still loves him. Both returned home and more misunderstandings occurred. Kongpope’s aunt and Pornfah convinced Kongpope that Namneung and her male friend, Tor, were lovers. Kongpope begins to notice that they are too close and got jealous. He confronted Namneung about Tor, but Namneung assured him that they are just friends. He didn’t believe her, so he drove out to the Harlem and got drunk. Pornfah followed him and snuck in sleeping pills in his drinks. Then, she drove him to a hotel and made it seemed like they slept together.

The next morning, Pornfah called Namneung and told her to come and get Kongpope. Namneung went to the hotel and found Kongpope sleeping with Pornfah. Crushed once again, she decided to divorce him believing that he doesn’t love her. Kongpope came back with no recollection about the event that happened last night. He found a divorce paper signed by Namneung and doesn’t understand why she wants to divorce him. He thought for sure that she wants to divorce him for Tor. Namneung found out she’s pregnant with Kongpope’s baby, but kept it secret. She decided to leave on her own to forget about Kongpope. Kongpope traced down the event that happened, and found out that his aunt with Pornfah were the ones scheming around to keep him and Namneung apart. He goes to find her, but it was too late. She had already left. Namneung’s friends and mom found out the whole truth and told Kongpope to find Namneung.

Kongpope went to the hospital where Namneung had stopped. The doctor then told him about Namneung and his baby. Kongpope was shocked to find out that Namneung is pregnant with his child. He had to find her no matter what and make her understand.

Kongpope went to the train station and after a while of looking he found Namneung already on the train. He told her the whole truth, but Namneung refused to listen. Kongpope begged and begged Namneung to come out and that he is sorry for not trusting her. The security guards came and took Kongpope away. At that moment, the train also left the station with Kongpope running after Namneung who is still on the train. Kongpope tripped and fell, and the train had left his sight. Out of despair and lost of hope, Kongpope made his way back. He found Namneung standing on his path and couldn’t believe his eyes. Both stared at each other for a bit then Kongpope said he was sorry and that he loves her. He asked for forgiveness again and she forgave him, and they ran into each other’s arms. They finally understood each other.

Synopsis/Review

Keistimewaan Bulan Ramadhan

Ramadan datang lagi.Bulan Ramadan telah dimuliakan oleh ALLAH dengan pelbagai keistimewaan berbanding bulan-bulan ALLAH yang lain. Antara keistimewaan yang terdapat pada bulan Ramadan ialah:


1. Disyariatkan Ibadah Puasa

Bulan Ramadan merupakan bulan yang penuh dengan keberkatan yang mana pada bulan ini disyariatkan ibadah yang amat mulia di sisi ALLAH, iaitu puasa. Sabda Rasulullah s.a.w:

" Telah tiba kepada kamu bulan Ramadan, iaitu bulan yang penuh keberkatan. ALLAH telah mewajibkan ke atas kamu agar berpuasa pada bulan itu." ­- Hadis riwayat Imam Ahmad di dalam Musnadnya , hadis no: 9133.

2. Bulan Diturunkan Al-Quran

Kalamullah al-Quran telah diturunkan pada bulan ini. Seluruh umat Islam beriman bahawa al-Quran merupakan kitab yang menjadi petunjuk bagi sekalian hamba ALLAH untuk membezakan di antara kebenaran dan kebatilan. Firman ALLAH S.W.T:

" (Kamu diwajibkan berpuasa) pada bulan Ramadan yang mana diturunkan al-Quran pada bulan itu. (Al-Quran itu) menjadi petunjuk bagi sekalian manusia dan juga membawa keterangan yang menjelaskan petunjuk dan perbezaan antara yang benar dengan yang salah." - Surah al-Baqarah: 185.


3. Pintu Syurga Terbuka Luas

Pada bulan Ramadan yang penuh berkat ini juga dibuka seluas-luasnya pintu syurga bagi mereka yang beriman dan taat kepada perintah ALLAH. Bahkan, di bulan yang mulia ini jugalah ALLAH melimpahkan pelbagai ganjaran pahala kepada hamba-NYA yang menjadi penyebab memudahkan mereka masuk ke syurga. Sabda Rasulullah s.a.w :

" Apabila datang bulan Ramadan, pintu-pintu syurga akan dibuka." - Hadis riwayat al-Bukhari dalam Sahihnya, hadis no: 1898.


4. Pintu Rahmat (Belas Kasihan Terhadap Hamba-NYA) Terbuka Luas

Pada bulan Ramadan pintu-pintu Rahmat dibuka. ALLAH meluaskan rahmat-NYA agar menaungi seluruh hamba-hamba-NYA yang tekun beribadah dan taat kepada-NYA dengan memberi ganjaran pahala yang berlipat kali ganda. Sabda Rasulullah s.a.w :

" Apabila tiba bulan Ramadan maka dibuka pintu-pintu rahmat." ­- Hadis riwayat Muslim di dalam Sahihnya, hadis no: 1079.


5. Pintu Langit Terbuka Luas

ALLAH membuka pintu langit seluas-luasnya pada bulan Ramadan yang mulia ini untuk menurunkan limpahan rahmat-NYA kepada sekalian hamba-hamba-NYA serta segala amalan-amalan berbentuk ketaatan kepada-NYA akan naik secara terus kepada-NYA. Sabda Rasulullah s.a.w :

" Apabila masuk bulan Ramadan, pintu-pintu langit dibuka." - Hadis riwayat al-Bukhari dalam Sahihnya, hadis no: 1899.


6. Pintu-Pintu Neraka Tertutup Rapat

Pintu-pintu neraka pula ditutup serapat-rapatnya pada bulan Ramadan. Ia menunjukkan bahawa pada bulan Ramadan yang mulia ini hamba-hamba ALLAH yang tekun beribadah dan menurut segala perintah-NYA terlindung daripada dorongan untuk melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan terlarang yang boleh menjadi penyebab untuk mereka dicampakkan ke dalam api neraka. Sabda Rasulullah s.a.w:

" Apabila masuk bulan Ramadan, pintu-pintu langit dibuka dan pintu-pintu neraka jahanam ditutup." - Hadis riwayat al-Bukhari dalam Sahihnya, hadis no: 1899.


7. Syaitan dan Jin Dirantai

Pada bulan Ramadan syaitan dan jin dirantai untuk menghindari mereka dari mengganggu atau menghasut orang-orang yang beriman. Ada juga ulama mentafsirkan maksud syaitan dibelenggu ialah syaitan tidak dapat merosakkan ibadah manusia pada bulan Ramadan kerana ketekunan manusia melakukan ibadah puasa serta ibadah-ibadah lain. Ini kerana, ibadah puasa itu dapat mengawal nafsu mereka dari terdorong melakukan perkara mungkar.

Sabda Rasulullah s.a.w:

" Apabila tibanya malam pertama bulan Ramadan dibelenggu syaitan-syaitan dan jin yang derhaka." - Hadis riwayat al-Tirmizi di dalam Sunan al-Tirmizi, Kitab al-Shaum, hadis no: 618.

Namun, persoalan yang timbul di sini bahawa sekiranya syaitan dan jin dibelenggu pada bulan Ramadan mengapa manusia masih melakukan kemungkaran pada bulan ini? Menurut al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani, Imam al-Qurthubi r.h telah berkata:

" Apabila semua syaitan terbelenggu tidak bermakna langsung tidak akan berlaku kejahatan dan kemaksiatan. Ini kerana, punca berlakunya kemaksiatan mungkin berpunca daripada faktor selain (hasutan) syaitan seperti diri manusia itu yang sememangnya berperangai buruk, sentiasa melakukan perbuatan mungkar serta manusia yang nafsunya masih terdorong mengikut hasutan syaitan." - Rujuk Fath al-Baari Syarh Sahih al-Bukhari, Tahqiq oleh Syeikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Baz, edisi terjemahan oleh Amiruddin, Pustaka Azzam, Jakarta (1997), jil. 11, ms. 43.

Mungkin ada yang akan tertanya-tanya tentang kebenaran fakta kewujudan syaitan mahupun jin dari jenis manusia. Sebenarnya ALLAH sendiri telah memerintahkan kita agar berwaspada dan memohon perlindungan kepada-NYA dari hasutan kelompok seperti ini.

Firman ALLAH S.W.T:

" Katakanlah (wahai Muhammad): AKU berlindung kepada (ALLAH) Pemelihara sekalian manusia, yang Menguasai sekalian manusia, TUHAN yang berhak disembah oleh sekalian manusia, dari kejahatan pembisik yang timbul tenggelam, yang melemparkan bisikan dan hasutannya ke dalam hati manusia, (iaitu pembisik) dari kalangan jin dan manusia." – Surah al-Nas: 1-6.

Oleh itu, tidak hairanlah sekiranya maksiat dan kemungkaran masih wujud pada bulan Ramadan yang mulia ini. Malah, pada bulan ini kita sebenarnya berkesempatan untuk berkenalan dengan spesis syaitan atau jin dari kalangan kaum manusia. Ya! kita dapat mengenali spesies ini melalui sikap mereka yang enggan mentaati perintah ALLAH. Semoga kita semua terhindar dari tergolong dalam kelompok yang hina ini.


8. Pada Bulan Ini Terdapat Lailatul Qadar

Pada bulan ini juga terdapat satu malam yang lebih mulia berbanding 1000 bulan, iaitu lailatulqadar.

Firman ALLAH S.W.T:

" Sesungguhnya KAMI telah menurunkan (al-Quran) itu pada malam al-Qadar. Apakah cara yang membolehkan engkau mengetahui kebesaran lailatulqadar itu? Lailatulqadar ialah malam yang paling baik berbanding 1000 bulan. Pada malam itu, para malaikat dan Jibril turun dengan izin TUHAN mereka membawa segala perkara (yang ditakdirkan berlakunya pada tahun berikutnya). Sejahteralah malam (yang berkat) itu hingga terbit fajar." – Surah al-Qadr: 1-5.

Oleh itu, sesiapa yang beribadah pada bulan Ramadan dan menepati malam lailatulqadar, ganjaran pahala amalannya itu melebihi ibadah yang dilakukannya selama 1000 bulan.

Synopsis/Review

Nok Sinjai takes on the role of Phanrawee, a woman trying to maintain her station in life. She is married to the wealthy Rangsee Soriyathit played by Pisan Akarasene (Aom’s biological father in real life and in this lakorn).

Rangsee and Phanrawee have no biological children together, they do have one adopted son Passakorn (Nat Tephassadin). Rangsee does have one biological child with another woman, Rangrong played by Aom Piyada. Rangsee did not know of her existence until she was grown. Rangrong is a feisty young woman out for revenge on Phanrawee the woman who harmed her mother and to claim what’s hers, which is Rangsee’s inheritance.

Episode 28 Synopsis (Last Episode)

The servant is knocked out cold. Rong lurks in the darkness while Rawee starts to look for the servant. Something doesn’t feel right, so Rawee goes to her drawer to grab the gun, but like magic it disappeared. And when she turned around, there she is Rong standing there pointing the missing gun at Rawee’s face. She demands for the will, but Rawee lied to her and says its in the box. As Rawee pretends to get the will from the box, rong gets impatient, so she pistol whips Rawee. Rong’s eyes wander around in search of the will. while she wasn’t looking Rawee throws the box at her causing her to lose balance. Rawee charges her and they struggle for the gun. The gun accidentally shoots the picture frame, causing the will to fall out.

They fight for the will. but Rawee got a hold of it and ran for her life while Rong chases and shoots, but misses. Then finally she caught up with Rawee and manages to shoot her in the shoulders. Rawee gets away, and calls Neung, but was quickly struck by a big stick/ She knocks out. Rong grabs the will and tries to burn it, but a mysterious wind blows out the flame. Then finally, Rong manages to put the flames on the will. but Rawee woke up in time to stop her. The will then falls off the balcony and landed on the dirt. The two women fight some more, but Rong manages to push Rawee off and runs down to the ground to fetch the will, but its gone! Chode holds up the will and tells Rawee that its over. Neung, Rawee, and Chode surrounds Rong and tells her its over, her time is coming. Rong refuses and runs off.

Rong goes to her shack feeling defeated. As she enter, Neung awaits. She tries to get away, but Neung grabs her and tells her its over and she needs to face reality. Rong cries out saying there must other ways, but Neung reminds her that there isn’t. She cries and says she did everything for her mother Saeng La. Neung consoles her and tells her to start over and that he’ll take care of her. She agrees and goes with Neung. When they reach the mansion, Rong faces Rawee again, but Rawee tells her the cops are on their way. A destraut Rong goes to her room and tries to think of a way out while the sirens gets closer. The cops reaches the mansion and was led to Rong’s room. Upon entering, rong is gone. Looks like she jumped out the window. Neung finds a letter from Rong.

Rong: Neung, please do one thing for me?? Please don’t hate me anymore? Please?

And then finally, Neung goes to water and scatter flowers over it and bit a final goodbye to Rong.
