Temptation of Wife (Lure of Wife) (아내의 유혹) was a highly watched drama in South Korea broadcast by SBS. It began to air in 2008 and continued through the early quarter of 2009, ending on May 1, 2009. Despite many controversies about the questionable content of the drama, it currently remains to be one of the most highly watched dramas averaging around 30% each day, and the cast winning several awards including the Daesang (Grand Prize) for lead actress Jang Seo Hee at the SBS Drama Awards.

Synopsis

One night Goo Eun Jae got drunk and Jung Gyo Bin took this opportunity to take advantage of her. Eun Jae and Gyo Bin got married but their marriage is not a very blissful marriage. Eun Jae's best friend, Shin Ae Ri, openly flirts with Gyo Bin in front of Eun Jae. Gyo Bin decided that he did not want to remain married to Eun Jae and tried to kill her. Eun Jae was presumed to have drown and died. Gyo Bin thought he was successful in killing Eun Jae and moved on with Ae Ri. Months later, Eun Jae is back for revenge but she presumes the identity of another woman, Min So Hee, who had killed herself. How will Gyo Bin react to a girl who looks exactly like his presumed dead wife, Eun Jae? Will he be tempted by So Hee?

Temptation of Wife is a Filipino romantic drama series developed by Richard Cruz, which premiered on GMA Network it premiered on October 29, 2012 in GMA Telebabad block, replacing Luna Blanca, and October 30, 2012 worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. The series is a remake of 2008 South Korean hit drama series of the same title. It banners Marian Rivera, Dennis Trillo, Glaiza de Castroand Rafael Rosell as the four main characters of the series. It is under the helm of Dominic Zapata.

Angeline and Heidi share a deep bond of friendship ever since Heidi was orphaned and was taken under the custody of Angeline's parents, Abner and Minda. Angeline grows up responsible and compassionate while Heidi, fueled by ambition and envy, secretly detests Angeline and always feels inferior next to her.

Many boys are attracted to Angeline but she falls in love with Marcel. It doesn't take long before Angeline becomes pregnant and gives up on her dreams of becoming a nurse in order to marry Marcel.

Although their marriage is void of happiness, Angeline tries to be an excellent wife to her husband, and takes good care of her in-laws, Romeo and Stella. However, she soon learns that the life she chose is full of lies and betrayals. Adding to her woes is her unexpected miscarriage. She soon discovers that Marcel is cheating on her and shocked to learn of Heidi’s treachery. Angeline is devastated by the thought of being betrayed by the two people closest to her heart.

Marcel decides to end his affair with Heidi but Heidi is already pregnant with his child. He chooses to live with her as Angeline is forced to go back and stay with her parents. But Angeline finds out that she, too, is pregnant with Marcel's child.

Heidi then tries to get rid of that child but ends up drowning Angeline herself by accident. But by a twist of fate, Angeline survives and is back for revenge. She assumes the identity of another woman and seeks out vengeance against Marcel and Heidi. Now, it's time for pay back and Angeline will do everything to taste the bittersweet part of her revenge.

Heartstrings (Hangul: 넌 내게 반했어, Romanized: Neon Naege Banhaesseo , literally: You've Fallen for Me, previously known as Festival and You're into Me) is a South Korean youthful melodrama about the main characters' love, friendship and dreams, set against the backdrop of an arts university.

Summary

Lee Shin is a university student majoring in modern music. He is also the vocalist and guitarist of the band "The Stupid." Shin is known for his good looks, cocky personality, and strong passion for music. Everyone sees him as a cold-hearted person, but he's actually soft inside. He lacks interest in anything unrelated to music and has neither dreams nor plans for the future. He initially likes Jung Yoon Soo, a dance professor at university, but this all changes when he meets Lee Gyu Won.

Lee Gyu Won is a bright and outgoing student who was born into a prestigious family and is majoring in traditional Korean instruments, especially the gayageum. Kyu Won's grandfather, Lee Dong Gun, is one of the top 3 traditional musicians of his age and his biggest wish is to see his granddaughter become a traditional music prodigy. Trying to live up to her grandfather's expectations, Kyu Won immerses herself in training and becomes a university student who knows nothing outside of her studies. As her friends are fans of "The Stupid", she was forced to go to the band's concert with them. There she saw Lee Shin performing live, and is immediately captivated by him.

6 Petua Mudah Jika Anda Sakit...

Kebanyakan daripada kita sering berjumpa doktor walaupun untuk masalah kesihatan yang simple seperti demam dan selsema. Masalah kesihatan seperti ini boleh dirawat secara mudah.

Ini dapat menjimatkan kos dan seterusnya mengelakkan kebergantungan terhadap antibiotik yang akan menyebabkan bakteria/ virus penyebab penyakit menjadi semakin imun. Di sini ada enam cara yang kita boleh gunakan sendiri di rumah:

1. Demam

• Ambil makanan yang lembut seperti bubur dan banyakkan meminum air untuk menggantikan cecair badan yang hilang.
• Rehat sebanyak yang mungkin.
• Sejukkan dahi dan badan dengan tuala basah sehingga  demam berkurangan.
• Basuh segenggam kacang pea dan biarkan ia kering. Panaskan tanpa minyak, kemudian letakkan kacang pea dalam cawan, tambahkan air sejuk dan biarkan untuk seketika sebelum diminum.

2. Selsema

• Tingkatkan pengambilan air dan rehat yang mencukupi.
• Ambil banyak buah-buahan (atau jus) seperti  oren atau jambu batu.
• Untuk melegakan hidung yang tersumbat, hidu bau bawang putih yang ditumbuk atau dipotong beberapa kali sehari.
• Sup ayam juga bagus untuk melegakan selsema. Cara yang lain untuk melegakan selsema ialah dengan menumbuk halia dan mengambil 1 sudu teh jus halia. Maniskan dengan madu dan ambil 3 kali sehari untuk 4 hari.

(Ramai beranggapan bahawa 'paracetamol' merupakan ubat mujarab untuk demam dan selsema namun ia cuma untuk melegakan sahaja, 'paracetamol' juga telah dikaitkan dengan kerosakan buah pinggang untuk jangka masa yang panjang)

3. Sakit Kepala dan Migrain

• Rebus beberapa kangkung dalam beberapa minit. Tuangkan air rebusan kangkung dalam gelas dan kemudian tambahkan secubit garam, kacau dan minum.
• Genggam beberapa ulas bawang putih dan gosokkan pada dahi.
• Ambil sekeping ubi kentang yang nipis dipotong dan letakkan pada dahi. Ganti dengan kepingan kentang yang lain selepas kepingan yang tadi kering.

4. Sakit tekak

• Letakkan satu sudu teh garam dalam secawan air suam. Kemudian kumurkan dengan air itu.

5. Cirit-birit

• Banyakkan meminum air bagi menggantikan cecair badan yang hilang. Garam ORT juga dapat membantu
• Minum teh kosong tanpa gula juga boleh melegakan cirit birit
• Elakkan pengambilan susu ketika cirit birit

.(Ketika cirit birit, dinasihatkan supaya kita minum secara sedikit-sedikit daripada meminum air dengan banyak dalam satu masa, ini kerana perut kita yang kejang tidak menerima air yang banyak dalam satu masa dan akan menyebabkan kita muntah)

6. Sembelit

• Banyakkan meminum air bagi melegakan sembelit
• Banyakkan pengambilan serat dalam makanan, seperti pisang dan juga roti gandum penuh

Jadi, kenapa kita harus bergantung kepada ubat-ubatan lagi sedangkan cara yang senang dan menjimatkan sudah ada?

My Girl

My Girl (마이걸; Mai Geol) was a popular South Korea television series produced by the Seoul Broadcasting System, that ran from late 2005 to early 2006. With the popularity of Lee Jun Ki and the appearances of Jae Hee and Han Chae Young (both from another successful drama, Delightful Girl Choon Hyang), it remained on the Top Ten, even til this day.

Synopsis

Joo Yoo Rin (Lee Da Hae) is a tour guide in a small company in charge of running mini tours in the Jeju Island of South Korea. Her father is a gambling addict, but despite all the debts that he runs up, Yoo Rin always finds a way to help repay them. She leads a below-average life but is happy as long as she has her dad around her. Because of her father's gambling ways, she has had to move from country to country whenever her father runs from one place to another to avoid their debtors. This has in turn brought her the ability to converse fluently in Chinese and Japanese, which are of great help as a tour guide whenever she has to entertain tourists from China and Japan.

Seol Gongchan (Lee Dong Wook) is the only heir of the owner of L'Avenuel Hotel, which is one of the top hotels in Korea. His grandfather, Seol Woong, charges him with the duty of finding his granddaughter, who is also Gongchan's cousin. Seol Woong had disowned his own daughter, Gongchan's aunt, when she decided to marry a man not of his choice. However, when Seol Woong had a change of heart and wished to accept his daughter back, an earthquake struck where his daughter lived, and since then, he has lost all contact with his kin and perhaps the chance to make amends for his own stubbornness, to take care of his granddaughter and hopefully make things right.

Kim Seohyun (Park Si Yeon) is the girlfriend of Seol Gongchan. A rising star in the tennis world, she returns to Korea to look for Gongchan as she cannot forget him.

Seo Jung Woong (Lee Jun Ki) is the son of one of the main shareholders of L'Avenuel Hotel and also the best friend of Seol Gongchan. Unlike Gongchan who is responsible and hardworking, Jung Woong is a flirt who is known to have many girlfriends.

The story starts with Yoo Rin rushing to the airport. She is helping her friend delay a flight so that the tourists of her friend will not miss their flight. Out of ideas, she plays a damsel in distress, who is apparently mourning her impending death and her dying wish to see her boyfriend who is apparently on the flight. And so after much crying and the entire airport empathizing with her, she gets to get on board the plane to look for her boyfriend who never really existed. As she walks, she realizes she cannot find anyone and pretends to faint. Alas, she faints beside the seat of our male lead, Seol Gongchan, who knows a liar when he sees one. Although their first encounter is weird, it doesn't leave much of an impression in each other's mind.

Later, however, when Gongchan has to entertain a bunch of Chinese visitors and realizes he has no translator, he engages the services of Yoo Rin coincidentally and through Yoorin, his potential Chinese investors have a great time at the L'Avenuel Hotel branch in Jeju, and Yoorin has much credit to claim for it.

After a series of comical events including Yoorin staying at his hotel lodge without paying, and Yoorin selling his hotel fruit-yard's oranges to make a small profit (to clear her father's debts again), Gongchan's impression of Yoo Rin is one of a cheat and he would want to do anything to distance himself from her.

But then word from mainland Korea is that his grandfather is dying and at his bedside, Seol Woong, through his respirator, can only meekly repeat that he must not and cannot die until he sees his granddaughter again.

Driven by desperation and his love for his grandfather, Gongchan will do anything to ease his burden. When pointed out by his secretary that Yoo Rin bears a resemblance to his aunt, Gongchan hatches a plan to pass off Yoo Rin as his grandfather's long-lost granddaughter whilst he carries on searching for the real one.

Yoo Rin, who is desperate for money to repay her father's debt, is unwilling to do the job as it involves lying to a dying man, something that she staunchly refuses to do. But when Seol Gongchan desperately begs her and she realizes she is somewhat indebted to him for not bringing her to the police after her little business in his hotel, she caves in and pretends to the long-lost granddaughter.

And so things seem to be going well, with the search for Gongchan's long-lost cousin making progress and perhaps more importantly, the improvement of Gongchan's grandfather's conditions thanks to Yoo Rin. As Yoo Rin spends more time with Gongchan's family, she gets showered with the love she never received as a child and finds herself drawn to Gongchan. She finds herself changing from the liar that she once was to a person who tries to tell the truth when she can. She knows all too well that her one-sided love will never materialize as the difference in social status between Gongchan and herself is too big.

But unknown to her, Gongchan is also slowly being drawn to her...
